Prepress Services

File fixes & Proofing

Hillside Printing & Copy Centre has a fully-equipped in-house prepress department.  We use a state-of-the-art pdf workflow to preflight, impose and proof supplied files.

Our Oris colour proofing is calibrated to our offset press so the colour matching is very accurate.  With digital printing proofs, of course, what you see is what you get.

We are able to make fixes to files so that they will print properly and correct minor typos etc.  We do not do design work in house but have a number of very qualified graphic artists we are happy to recommend for this work.

We are very experienced with all popular desktop and professional graphics software packages on both Mac and PC platforms. We have the expertise, hardware and software to handle almost any file.

Currently supported software programs are as follows:

MAC:

Acrobat 7.0
QuarkXpress 6.0x
InDesign CS2
Photoshop CS2
Illustrator CS2

CorelDraw 12.0

WINDOWS:

Acrobat 7.0
CorelDraw 12
QuarkXpress 5.0x
Microsoft Word 2003
