Offset PrintingWe run three conventional offset presses. Our maximum image size is 18.5"x25" with a maximum sheet size is 19 x 25.5 inches. NEW!! We have recently upgraded to Computer-to-Plate equipment complete with Oris colour proofing to produce the proofs and plates for printing jobs. This has improved the quality we can achieve and is a completely environmentally friendly process with no waste photographic chemicals to dispose of. Our press crew is very experienced and will run your job to the highest of lithographic quality standards. We have received many provincial awards for quality printing. Conventional offset printing is still the best way to produce the highest quality at the least cost, depending on run length and other specifications. It also is the only way to produce some effects, print on some textured papers and produce spot colour work. We are happy to accept any file type, traditional "camera-ready" art or plate ready film. We have a fully qualified in-house prepress department to preflight your files and generate colour correct proofs. We insist on proofs for every print job. These vary in type depending on the type of job, but for colour proofs the proofer is calibrated to the press. With digital, of course, what you see is what you get. Our prepress department uses a state-of-the-art pdf workflow for preflighting files to ensure that they will image correctly for whatever output is required. Proofs are generated from a "ripped" pdf file and then plates are generated from the same file.
